Moving in and the house warming

We moved in two weeks ago and it's been a busy couple of weeks. We've been packing, unpacking, building beds, putting up blinds, painting, sanding, waxing, cleaning, polishing and cooking. Two weeks off work has flown by.

The carpets and glass balustrading were still being fitted as we moved in and there was still a lot of activity in the ground floor shower and utility rooms, which are still a work in progress.

We had a fantastic bank holiday weekend with lovely sunny weather and plenty of fun with family and friends. Even the red arrows made an appearance!

Thank you to everyone for all your help, for the gifts and the great company.

Julian fulfilled his ambition of sharing a big bottle of red wine with friends and family, thanks to Emmanuel, Jonny, Phil and Martin

We're still trying to remember where we've put everything and working out how everything operates.
