A few more photos from today's visit

There's been a lot of time spent decorating this week, but there's still a lot of finishing off to do before we move in next Friday. We also saw the lights on for the first time today.

A week to go ....

We have a front door and the stairs are in. The cleaners are booked from Tuesday and the carpets are being fitted on Thursday and Friday - also the day we move in.

There will still be work to be done on the utility room and garage and other bits and pieces, but hopefully it will be habitable. It looks like we'll be running off the generator for about 3 weeks and we ran out of money for the drive and the garden and fitting out the utility room. So they will be the next project!

We need to start packing this weekend...
