Verandah and a little more brick work

The posts for the verandah are in and the brick work at the back of the house has been completed. We're hoping the mortar will go off to a paler colour, but we're pleased with the way it looks. The barge boards are also going on and some of the scaffolding is down, so it's a bit easier to see what it's going to look like.

Most of the rooflights are in now, just the ones in our bedroom to go in.

The builders have started to batten the exterior walls ready for the oak featherboard cladding and have started the brick work.

The glazing on the living room gable and the bifold doors in our bedroom have been installed.

We've started some mood boards to plan the interior.

Roof tiles and flue

The roof tiles are going on pretty quickly. Most of the northern elevation have been done and the western end of the south side.

The hole has been cut for the flue for the wood burner.

The internal walls upstairs are being erected.
